Indian Street Photographer


Sasikumar Ramachandran is a self-taught photographer residing in Chennai. An observer of the streets, he documents people in their everyday lives and chance encounters, while bringing out the art from those mundane settings.

His work has been exhibited in Leica cafe (London), Harvey Milk Photo Center (California), Base Milano (Italy), History Miami Museum (Florida, US), Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (Thailand), Officine Fotografiche Roma (Italy), National Media Centre (New Delhi), L&P hutheesing Visual Art Centre (Ahmedabad), Lalit Kala Academy (Chennai) and has been featured in reputed publications.

He has bagged several prestigious awards both on the national and international fronts. He considers himself incredibly lucky to be doing what he does, and shares his passion for photography with everyone that he works with.
